For the past 12 years, BrainJocks has been providing web application development
services for companies and startups around the world. During this time, we've quite
often found ourselves needing a way to harness our best solutions and document our
methodologies; a way to collect our intellectual properties into a single internal
resource. We desperately needed a way to harvest, if you will, our code snippets.
OK, that was intentionally inflammatory. So, before you get all huffy, hear me out.
Even if you're the type that will argue until your blue in the face that web design
is not, in fact, actually dead, I bet we can all agree that it is certainly drastically
changing in purpose ....

Response Mine Interactive and BrainJocks Win digiDay SAMMY Award for Tweets for
a Cause
Atlanta, Ga. (PRWEB) September 28, 2009 -- Response Mine Interactive (RMI) and BrainJocks
have won a digiDay SAMMY Award for their Tweets for a Cause program in the category
"best social good contribution." The SAMMY Awards honor excellence and breakthrough
achievement in social advertising, media and marketing.
The award-winning campaign, Tweets for a Cause, was developed and executed in May
2009 to increase awareness and individual donations to local non-profit organizations.
This first-ever organized social media program benefited Susan G. Komen for the
Cure, Greater Atlanta Affiliate and its mission to enable women to detect and survive
breast cancer.
"I'm extremely excited and proud that we brought home an award for Tweets for a
Cause," said Ken Robbins, president and founder of RMI, an Atlanta direct marketing
digital agency. "In one day we were able to grow awareness of Komen Atlanta through
our educational message, "8 Signs of Breast Cancer" by connecting with more than
1.3 million twitter users and driving more than 11,000 visitors to the Komen Atlanta
campaign page." "More importantly," commented Robbins, "we were able to lend our
support to a fantastic non-profit in our Atlanta hometown."
